Spine Group of Texas Research Foundation

Dr. Esses has been actively involved with research and teaching throughout his professional career. He has been the director of “The Orthopedic Residency Program” at Baylor College of Medicine, Director of the fellowship Program at the Spine Institute, and mentored hundreds of individuals who have an interest in spine related disorders. He has published over one hundred articles on spinal issues including surgical techniques, biomechanics, and spinal disorders. He created “The Spine Group of Texas Research Foundation” to further his efforts in teaching and research. It supports the development of spine specialists and helps fund their educations and research efforts.
