Judy Breaux31/07/2024I've had back issues for years, Lumbar and more. On February 8, 2023, I was in a car accident that shattered one of the disk in my back. I have ALWAYS been terrified of back surgery because of the horror stories I heard from others but my pain was unbearable. I finally got 4 different opinions from 4 different back surgeants, Dr. Stephen Esses being the 4th. Everyone, including my personal doctors had nothing but great things to say about him. I made another appointment to see him and he could tell that I was terrified. He didn't ignore my feelings and was so kind about reassuring me that he would take very good care of me. I began to feel really comfortable with Dr. Esses and had my back surgery on September 13, 2023. I went home the same day with understandable care instructions. His office staff followed up with me and I followed up with him. It hasn't been a year since my back surgery. I feel AMAZING!! I can call him about any concerns and questions and HE always call me back. I am so thankful and grateful for his skills, kindness and professionalism. He is a great surgeon and I would highly recommend him to my friends and family. I thank God for Dr. Stephen Esses!! He also has a wonderful sense of humor!! 😆
Daleen Green20/06/2024Dr Esses is amazing. He is the 4th surgeon I saw for my lumbar back pain over 5 yrs and the only one that would help me. I'm 2 weeks out from surgery and already am pain free.

Kim Shortt10/06/2024Dr Stephen Esses is the best! He knows his stuff and actually developed quite a few of the new techniques for the back and spine. He is a Dr who cares. He always makes sure my problems are solved. I love him dearly! I very highly recommend him. He's awesome!!!

Louie Soria25/04/2024Before the surgery, I had back pain from the minute I woke up to a minute I went to sleep, and even during the night after Dr. Esses seen my MRI. He said that he could help me. He performed the surgery within that same day of surgery I had no more back although the incision was slightly painful. It went away within three days. Thank you, Dr. Esses for all your help.
Robert Renteria02/04/2024Okay people I was at a point where I literally could not walk anymore due to my sciatic nerve being pinched right side! I went to Dr Esses office, we began the process and within a week I was scheduled for surgery and there is no other way to say this Dr. Esses is my hero!! Dr.Esses and his staff are very knowledgeable,professional, kind and extremely helpful throughout the whole process so if your considering or in need of an orthopedic doctor I truly recommend Dr. Esses!!! Again I say thanks to him and his staff, truly amazing!!
matthew Terry29/03/2024Had Serious Sciatic nerve issues before seeing Dr Esses . Had him do surgery. Felt 97% better after still little pain did physical therapy after surgery 100 Percent Pain Gone Now! After 1st physical therapy session. Thanks to Dr Esses good work saved me from saiatic nerve pain never though anyone would be able to fix but he did Thanks God Bless
Dennis McGregory28/03/2024Dr Eses was a very professional and knew exactly what my issue was even before he looked at the MRI. I’ve been to several different doctors before and did not get any results. The Dr Eses fixed my problem now I can walk again without pain. Thank you very much Dr Eses.
