I've had back issues for years, Lumbar and more. On February 8, 2023, I was in a car accident that shattered one of the disk in my back. I have ALWAYS been terrified of back surgery because of the horror stories I heard from others but my pain was unbearable. I finally got 4 different opinions from 4 different back surgeants, Dr. Stephen Esses being the 4th. Everyone, including my personal doctors had nothing but great things to say about him. I made another appointment to see him and he could tell that I was terrified. He didn't ignore my feelings and was so kind about reassuring me that he would take very good care of me. I began to feel really comfortable with Dr. Esses and had my back surgery on September 13, 2023. I went home the same day with understandable care instructions. His office staff followed up with me and I followed up with him. It hasn't been a year since my back surgery. I feel AMAZING!! I can call him about any concerns and questions and HE always call me back. I am so thankful and grateful for his skills, kindness and professionalism. He is a great surgeon and I would highly recommend him to my friends and family. I thank God for Dr. Stephen Esses!! He also has a wonderful sense of humor!! 😆
